Heroes - Nissan Versa
I didn't get much done this weekend due to not feeling well.  This morning I woke up feeling pretty good, took it easy in the morning just in case, and then launched into working: both housework and the THREE articles and stories I'm futzing along with.  Then...my phone rings, and it's ESP.  Apparently E is making homemade chicken wings and they wanted to know if I wanted to come over.  Um...I didn't realize there could be any doubt about whether or not I might want to have someone else make a delicious lunch for me...

But then--the real reason I'm posting this--I have this conversation with S:

S: So...the Heroes DVDs you loaned me Friday night...I'm pretty into it.  It's what I've been watching all weekend.
Me: How far?
S: Episode 16.  Sylar and Mohinder are together now and it's...kind of weird. Yeah.

I can't wait to ask her about the Petrellicest...

And now, if you'll excuse me, if I hurry, I can get over there in time to watch "Parasite".

I'm just waiting to get to Parasite with the friends I'm introducing to the show - I'm going to be giggling like crazy and grinning like an idiot every time the two of them are on screen together, and they'll have no idea why. Fun fun. :P

We got to the point in .07% where Sylar comes to, completely unharmed, on top of the map, and I said, "And thus was born 'Mohinder and Sylar are in love'." She replied, "Yeah, that's the only reason I can think of for not shooting him in the head."

This was after we missed part of the dialogue in Parasite because as soon as she heard "you can't access your abilities" she started yelling at Mohinder, "Shoot him! Shoot him now! What's wrong with you? Shoot him!" I decided to hold off on the Mylar at that point, though. ;0)

I'm fully expecting some kind of reaction like this from my roommate. She gets very... vocal when she gets into a tv show. When we got to the scene in Collision where he's watching Niki and Nathan sleeping, she said that he was probably thinking "Two of them? It's like Christmas!" which completely cracked me up.

I generally don't talk because I don't want to miss dialogue. But I do scream at big moments. In fact, while watching Landslide, I realized that my neighbors were probably on the verge of calling the cops...

I usually don't, but sometimes I can't help myself (i.e., when Bennett shot Thompson and I shouted at my tv. Loudly). My roommate does tend to get loud, and I'm ok with that for now, since I've seen all these episodes before, but come S2 time...we may have to have words.
