Detail of 'Yuuwaku' by Audrey Kawasaki

Yech.  I slept 12 hours last night and want to sleep even more.  I did at least manage to spend an hour doing yard work, so the back yard looks presentable.  However my sinuses started killing me, so I stopped, took a shower, and went to May Day to get a mocha...and they had pumpkin bars!  I love their pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting.  Mmmm.

Also, I had more weird cold-induced dreams last night.  Unfortunately the only one I remember was one where I had for some reason gotten 6 cats, one of whom was blue and very adorable.  However the city had laws that said that you couldn't have more than 5 cats, and if they found out you had exceed the cat limit they would take all your cats away and burn them.  So I was trying to figure out which cat to take to the pet shelter so that I wouldn't have to risk losing them all, but they were all so adorable, I couldn't decide which one to sacrifice.

OK.  It is time to take my medicine, finish writing about Torchwood and watch the Bengals lose.  Something tells me that mixture of activities may end in tears.

ETA: Shit.  They just had to punt on their very first possession.  They didn't even get a first-down conversion: just straight to the punting.  I never thought I'd say this, but...thank God for the Dolphins this year.

OK, sorry, this is completely irrelevant, but your mood icon thing makes me LOL. OH ZACHARY.

And blue cats? That's my kind of dream.

I love this Sasan mood theme. I'd prefer a Sylar one, but this one is just so expressive.

I totally wish I had PhotoShop to make a picture of that cat. Do you know what I mean by a tiger-striped cat? It was just like that, except instead of greyish-black and white, it was blue and white. And it was a kitten, so it was totally adorable.

So not only was it blue, but it was stripy? I WANT ONE.

That reminds me of a project that someone i know is supposed to be working on. I wonder if taking time off to work on a mood theme is acceptable "I should really be working!" behavior.

I had like three crazy dreams yesterday. One involved a crazy purple sun (or maybe it was a moon. I don't even know, but it was moving through the sky extra fast.) and another some dude who took my paycheck. Like, we were friends, but for some reason he had my paycheck. And then he left a manilla envelope in my mailbox with two other envelopes. One had a birthday card with a newspaper horoscope stuck in it. (It was not my birthday. For some reason I think it was his. Do not ask me why.) But, right as I was about to read the card, I rolled over in the bed and woke up. This was a disaster, because I really wanted to know why he had my check and what was in that other envelope. There was also something involving a "genius idea" to produce baby bibs. Perhaps he took my money as seed money for a baby bib empire? I don't know. There was other stuff, but now I just sound like a babbling weirdo, when all I wanted to say "Sylar mood theme? Yes!"

Allow me to point out that you did say, "working on a mood theme". I believe that makes it count as "working". Y/Y?

Hmmm. I think perhaps I should change the slogan of my LJ to this, as it describes many of my recent posts.
